GCGL 2012 Thanksgiving Service – Prophet Diallo – Saturday, December 22, 2012

Gospel Reading Luke 17:11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Col 4:2Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

1. We owe God tonnes of gratitude lets give it to Him

2. We ascribe everything we have & done as a Company onto God

3. As we lift the name of God it lift up Favor & barrier of the devil from GCGL.

4. Thanksgiving is a must & compulsory

5. Thanksgiving means giving thanks for immense help & assistance in ones hour of need.

6. But for the mercy of God we will not have been here.

7. We cannot forget our vows we made to God to Him at our time of need.

8. All power belongs to God

9. In the Gospel. Jesus stretched His hands to heal the 10 lepers but only one returned.

10. Christ was hurt about the 9 ungrateful lepers – so we need to avoid ingratitude.

11. We GCGL are like the 1 leper who returned – the grateful Samaritan

12. We must be grateful Ps 34:1 I will bless, thank & honor the Lord at all times:

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

13. Ps 106:1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord;for He is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

14. If God will open our eyes to see what the devil one has in store for us & God has taken us out

15. Ps 116:12 What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me? 13 I will take the cup of salvation,and call upon the name of the Lord. 14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people. 15 Precious in the sight of the Lord

16. Go to Korle Bu & see what people are going through & God has been more than able.

17. We pray for uncommon favor.

18. Dedicate our Strategy to Christ.

19. God if Your presence will not go with me, I will rather stay – Thank God that He has promised us that His Presence is with us. He has promised & sent us the Paraclete who is with us now.
