Restoration 2012 – My message for Sunday, January 22, 2012

Rev 21: 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him

@. Theme for Restoration 2012 is Stay Awake & be lead by the Holy Spirit – ( Rev 16:15 – Eph 1:4/ Gal5:16-26)

@. We attend & respond to others when they invite us to their Programme – great opportunity to evangelize our people & fulfill our charge of going it to make disciples of the world. Invite. Will we be Jona, or Jesus or the Apostles. The time is short. Be fishers of Men. Invite:

$. Parishioners who have stopped coming, going elsewhere or just sitting at home

$. Non catholics & non Christians

@. This is an opportunity to meet our 30% target of increasing church attendance even before the year ends

@. The Lord has done great things for us & will do great things for us during these 3 days. So like our Mother Mary we will have the opportunity to say – Holy be His name. There will be time for Tesimony.

@. We will be able to increase our numbers as a Parish if we ourselves come. So we should make it a point to attend ourselves, so that we will be able to restore what the locust has eaten in any part of our lives.

@. Like in the Gospel God wants to make us Fishers of men, what are you leaving behind to follow God & come to restoration & be restored.
