Coach Herbert Addo who approached the match with an attacking mentality having recorded a narrow one nil home win ensured his players fought till the stipulated time to progress to the next stage of the continental tournament.

Thanks to the Phobian goalie Soulama Abdoula who saved a penalty for coach Herber Addo’s indefatigable Hearts team to deny the host pick a lead in the crunchy encounter. The Rainbow colours thus qualify with a one nil aggregate and will either face Cameroonian side Unisport Bafang or Olympique of Senegal.
