Who is pillaging the KALAKPA Forest? We have questions that needs answers!!

Good evening, people of Ghana and people of the Volta Region. There is nonsense of illegal gold mining has not gotten to our region. We need to ensure that it never comes. We would take of your sandals if you dare as a chief allow that on our sacred land and water bodies. If you are a DCE or MCE and you permit it, we would use the power of the people to hound you legally from our towns and villages. You better not be incompetent, not complicit. Either way, you would not be worthy to lead us.

But you what, our Volta Region might not be free of environmental degradation after all. We need to wake up and check what is going on in there. We cannot be screaming our lungs off when there is fire on our own mountain. As our people say ‘gota wunde wunder hoome nyangaa oh‘ to wit outside gentility inside dirty

What is happening almighty to and in the KALAKPA Forest, precisely Abutia in the Ho West Constituency?

What are the Chinese doing in that forest?

Are our leaders aware of the environmental impact?

What are our chiefs doing about it?

Have any of our Chiefs been compromised?

Is this resulting in any chieftaincy disputes?

What has our MP been saying about this? I have not heard any, let me know if you have heard his voice.

Where are the natural leaders of the Volta Region? Are we being too quiet, are we also compromised? Are there any security forces involved in this?

Now all I have are questions and I would be coming for answers. We would not permit any persons to steal our today right in front of our eyes. Neither would we allow the future of our grandchildren to be pillaged and raped. We would also not allow you to desecrate the heritage of our past.

We need to rise up and protect almighty KALAKPA Forest, if you know you are complicit then get ready we are coming for you. If you know you have the power to act and have been silent too you are also part of the problem. We would use whatever legal powers that exist to defend and protect our heritage, our present and our future.
