Update on the case against Kola the gunman who shot Pius

Collins Quarcoo Accused of shooting Pius Kwain

The case of Collins Quarcoo (Kola) was presented today 17th December 2020. My brother, friend & fellow Apsuian Lawyer Opoku Agyei announced himself as holding watching brief for Pius Asiedu Kwanin, a Reporter of Newswatchgh.com,  in court. The accused pleaded not guilty to all charges. He was remanded in police custody to reappear on 24th December 2020.

We thank Lawyer Opoku so much for his solidarity and support. We are grateful to all who are supporting get justice for Pius & by extension all victims of attacks perpetrated during this election. Meanwhile, Pius successfully underwent surgery on Friday 11th of December & is recovering.

Join us pray for a speedy recovery of Pius & all victims of these dastardly attacks. In the meantime, Ibrahim Abass, who was also shot together with Pius and others at the same collation centre in the Ablekuma Central Constituency on December 7 died yesterday. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

We call on all media to support this fight to ensure that justice is done to Pius & all victims of these attacks.

And may all the perpetrators whether members of the security forces or civilians know no peace till they are prosecuted and brought to justice.
