Ghana Immigration Service steps up to the plate

My friend who is an officer of the Ghana Immigration Service shared this link on Instagram about the GIS action on impunity that a few Nigerians  displayed at Kasoa. Considering the source of the link, I believe it and I am happy that they have taken steps to deal with this illegality. This is the video of the act

This is what my friend ghanaisbae_posted on Instagram. Ghana Immigration Service, this morning, about three hours ago, rounded up illegal Nigerian migrants who recently ambushed, accosted, assaulted, and shamed Ghana Immigration Officers at Kasoa.

These Nigerians had the audacity to record their dastardly act and propagate it on social media, attracting grave concerns from terrified and horrified Ghanaians worldwide. How safe are we in the hands of these foreigners when they are able to rough up people who protect us on our own land?
How safe are we when our policeman allegedly help a Nigerian who kidnaps a Ghanaian girl to flee from custody?
Eeeiii Ghanafo, we are too soft oo

Our internal security calls for serious rethinking . Thankfully the Immigration Service has done the needful, albeit belatedly. I expect the government  to treat this matter with all the seriousness it deserves . We should publicly and formally warn our ECOWAS brothers and sisters that although our doors are open , it does not give them any semblance of a right to disrespect our laws and our gatekeepers.

Can you do this in Nigeria?

Can you do this anywhere in the world ?

Only in Ghana can this be tolerated .

Give them an inch , and they will take a mile.

End of the message from Instagram. I have a question to ask, what has happened to the Police who attacked the Immigration Officer and freed some suspects the latter had arrested.

We should also support each other as Ghanaians 1st before extending our hands to strangers. We should allow the Princes of Land to marry the Land not Strangers 1st.
