The creative force of Sound – Winners Chapel – Bishop George Adjeman 27th Dec 2015 – My take

Today was the feast of Holy Family, the Union of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Was at Mass at St. Theresa Parish Kaneshie and Rev. Fr. Minta preached a fiery Homily admonishing Husbands, Wives, Parents and Children. A holy family will beget a holy church and a holy country. We should stop causing our partners grieve as well as our children. So to children should be obedient to their parents and learn from the Child Jesus.

I left Mass after communion to attend Winners Chapel Avenor Branch Service. My brother, friend and prayer partner Rev Ken Kpodo was being elevated to service as the Pastor responsible for the Avenor branch. So I was there to lend him my prayer and physical support.

I want to share with you my take on the message of the Bishop, Bishop Agymang. Let me state here and now that He preached on the Creative Force of Sound. His message was made clearer by a lady Pat who at Testimony time said she defied her past and background by being the only sibling out of 8 who has graduated from University. She also failed the 1^st time but inspired by the Holy Spirit and with faith she said she will go to the University, she professed it and acted on it and today. She is a graduate from one of the private Universities. After University she professed that she will get married and with prayer and supplication it came to pass in the two years.

We need to happen to ourselves through the Holy Spirit, there is a part we have to play in our salvation and our walk with God. We cannot be passive. We need to keep professing the good things, knowing that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. This professing it with our mouth and believing it will keep us focused on the goal.

Psalms 66:1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: It does not say there was a joyful noise. The sound has to be made, it will not just become. We need to MAKE that joyful sound. So the sound was is not there before. So we all have to confess it, for me I WILL make it happen, I WILL complete the DBA. I will finish it in 2016. That is my profession and prophesies.

In whatever situation we find ourselves we can still MAKE it. So why make the negative pronouncements, if you do it will come to pass. So lets make a Positive declaration and with the Holy Spirit it will happen. We need to speak to that challenge in our lives, we should be bold and be the first person in our family, in our clan, in our village, in our church, in our country, in our continent and in the world to do it. Lets defy the odd, yes they might call us names, but it does not matter the names they will call you. Lets do it.

The Creative Force of Sound. God can make all the shouts he wants to make, but He still ask us to make it. We are a fallen people, yet He still ask us to make the joyful noise to him. It is an opportunity for you and I and lets take advantage of it. He repeats it again in Psalms 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. He is sharing His creatorship with us. To speak and things happen like He did in the beginning. He created the world from His word.

John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. – Everyone born of the Spirit is a sound maker. So we should be joyful sound makers. We should confess positivity – Tell God that no matter my background, no matter the difficulty in the economy I am ready for the next stage, a higher and a better stage.

God has brought us to the end of 2015 and within the next 3 days He is offering us a new year, 2016, a new beginning. God does not love anyone more than He loves us. He loves us all equally, so He is giving all of us the same opportunity from the 1^st second in 2016. We are starting at the same time, are we ready to make the joyful sound on to Him and we ready to take the bold step in faith. That is what will differentiate the winners from the rest. What will make the difference among others is what sound are you ready, willing and able to make. The sound you make makes the foundations of our faith and without faith it impossible to please God.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. – We need to keep saying to the challenges thou be removed. As we see happened to the Israelites, during the battle for Jericho, all He has them to do was the shout. That they did, trusting and obeying the commandment to shout. What God does with the Joyful shout, is His business. Joshua 6:16 “And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.”

The sound we make will determine the quality of 2016. The year 2016 shall be onto me as I say it. 2016 shall be my year of God’s Glory in my life and for my benefit, He will transform our lives, our jobs, our finances, our health, our marriages, our relationships. What we are trusting Him for He will do for us based on our Joyful noise onto Him. In 2016 i shall obtain divine favor in my match to take over the world.

Again from Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. – The assurance is from God Himself, all we need to do is to say to that challenge be removed. It is not for us to blame anybody or anything; let us just listen to what God is saying. If only we can say to the impossible situation, be removed. We don’t need to describe it, massage it, try to reduce its effect. Just say be removed. The Bishop has a prophesy for me as he kept going on about education, and I am saying to the challenge in my life about education, stalling DBA and PHD that be removed now and into 2016. I shall graduate in 2016. All other challenges too be removed in Jesus name.

Bishop Adjeman asked that we all pause and write 2 challenges that should be removed in 2016. I have written mine, what is yours. Lets stop using the challenges as an excuse not to perform. Let us take it up and say to it based on the Blessed Assurance of God “be removed”.

The question is do we know the challenges in your life? God is asking us to identify and say to it be removed. We don’t need to touch it, just speak to it based on Mark 11:23.

After we say be removed, that is just the beginning it is a 3 point exercise. Then the next step is that we should not doubt. The power of God should not be doubted. We do not need to understand, that is why it is a mystery. All we need to do is to do what God ask us to do and the rest He will do by Himself. Let us not doubt in our heart.

3 requirements to excel in 2016 are the following

1. Say to the challenge be removed – The mountain in our lives to be removed – “That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed”
2. Don’t doubt in your heart – “and shall not doubt in his heart”
3. Believe that what you have said will come to pass in Jesus name. – “he shall have whatsoever he saith”

Consolidate it with the verse 24

In Gen 1 God had to believe in Himself. He said let there be light and there was light. So we also need to also believe in God who has given that same power as He created us in His image and likeness. He has given as the power of the WORD to make things come to pass and to make challenges be removed.

If the Children of Israel has doubted the wall will not have gone down. So in that battle God asked them to be quite so they did not say negativity. If they has been given the opportunity to talk they will have thwarted miracle by doubting. May God shut us up if we will utter negativity instead of believing.

We see the same example in the case of Zacharia in Luke 1:18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. For doubting, God cause him to be dumb for 9 months till the miracle came to pass for John the Baptist to be born. May God shut my doubting mouth this 2015 to 2016 for my miracle to be birth Amen.

So we see the power of the tongue. So we need to mind our tongue and what we say with our mouth, the creative force of sound. Genesis 21:1 And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as He had spoken. In between may God give us understanding! Never mind our background, let us focus on the joyful sound. For us to utter a wrong sound may we rather go dump so that our miracle in 2016 may come to pass.

Even as we make the joyful noise on to the Lord, tell our challenges to be removed, do not doubt in hearts and believe. So to we should sow to the work of God. Pastor Ken reminded us of the prophesy to the Widow of Zarapha in 1 Kings 17:13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 17:14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

It is all about the little that we have and not from our excess that we should give and when we do our jar and jug will not run out.

After the service the Bishop invited me to the sanctuary and introduced me to the house and asked that I say something to the congregation. Apart from my emphasis on the message of God through His Bishop, asking them to say to their challenges to be removed, and not doubt but believe and that it will be well with them, their families and Ghana will have a peaceful elections.

I also asked all of them as Christians to ask any politician asking for their vote to declare their stands on same sex marriage as that is alien to our faith as Christians. Based on what the politicians say they should then vote according to their faith.
