The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, has paid glowing tribute to the late Lionel Van Lare Dosoo, my uncle, a former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana. Mr Debrah says the former Deputy Governor was ”a great pillar in Ghana’s banking and finance” sector.

The Chief of Staff says “President John Dramani Mahama had great respect for Mr Van Lare Dosoo for serving his country well”.

Mr Debrah paid his tribute when a delegation from the family of the late Mr Dosoo on Thursday called on the Presidency at the Flagstaff House to officially announce his death. Ambassador Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe and Prof John Bright Kobla Aheto jointly led the delegation on Monday the 15th June 2015.
