President Mahama at the Weija Camp of Cured Lepers

It was the first time a sitting President has visited the cured lepers in Weija. For me, the most beautiful part of the visit was the President shaking the hands of the cured lepers, something most people feared.

They are cured; therefore, you will not be infected when you shake them. Thank you Mr. President, for showing the way.

I hope we will all learn from this and support Rev. Fr. Campbell who has been dealing with the cured lepers for decades.

If you could get leprosy by dealing with the cured lepers than Father will not what he is today and most of us Catholics and non Catholics who deal with Father will also have suffered.

Kudos to my sister Barbra of the Lepers Aid and her colleagues who have kept faith with this cause and are still active.
