Homily By Fr Anthony Agnes – 7th Sunday of Easter (17-05-2015)

The CVs of the two candidates nominated to replace Judas in today’s readings are worth noting. One candidate was known by his first name, his surname and even his nickname; obviously very popular and people’s choice so his name was placed first.16.-7th-Sunday-of-Easter Homily By Fr Anthony Agnes - 7th Sunday of Easter (17-05-2015)

The other candidate, as if was just to add to the list, was known only by his first name; no surname, no nickname.

Yet when the lot was cast, it fell on him. How? …God refereed his CV. That day his destiny changed from a disciple to an apostle.

Do you need God to referee your CV of life? Do you need a ‘chosen-from-behind’ encounter? Click and listen to this brief homily I shared at Mass this morning and let God speak to you. Your destiny is about to bounce back. God bless you and please pray for me.
