Lets go beyond the NDC & NPP

I agree with Ace, speaking on MP Express on MultiTV on the day that we had a pre burial service of one of Ghana’s finest advertsing Guru, Mr. Silas Asare Mante of Apple-Pie Publicity. Uncle Silas was a fine gentleman & has paid his dues. But lets come back to what is on my mind tonite.

Ghanaians, we are allowing the NPP-NDC politicking to destroy too many things in Ghana, the country has been polarised too much. Everything we do has been divided along Party lines, not even Party lines, but NDC-NPP. I now hear youy cannot tell anybody that you are neutral. If you are speaking to the NPP and you declare that you are neutral, you will be accused of being on the other side. Same applied to NDC too.

I believe that we need to use this Judgement-Debt issue to cure the bigger problem in Ghana. We need to look into the whole cancan of judgement debt. Since 1992 how much judgement debt have we paid, who caused them, were they avoidable and most importantly how do we prevent this bleeding from continuing.

It is the reason that I tend to agree with Ace Ankomah that possibly if both the NPP and NDC were looking after the Interest of Ghana, to which we have voted them, either now or in the past, they will have looked beyond their party interest and spoken to each other to have prevented this. After all government is a continuum and as Statemen, we need to put Ghana’s interest 1st. Please work togther when our interest as Ghanaains are at stake.

It is the same thing that we, as a country Ghana have done with cocaine issue, the Party Politicians keep on blaming each other when any illicit drug case come up in each other’s tenure in office. We then allow the criminals hide behind these petty scrabble & continue to perpetuate their criminal activities & Ghana is no longer a transits country, we are a consuming country. The drug issue and definetly this judgement debt issue is not party political issue, it is bigger than that. Lets get to the bottom of these issues.

I pray we the Media will also help by stopping to play NPP-NDC on all issues. We are also equally to blame for this problem, as the 4th Estate of the realm, what do we do when any issue come up. Instead of digging deep and investigate these issues & put the truths out. We do the easiest get the the NDC or NPP side, it is not as if it is not important to hear their side, but we should also be able to put out what we have researched and found out to be the truth, empirically based not our Politically laced opinions

All Media people in Ghana, both State & Private owned, this is the least we owe to Ghana & Graphic has to lead the charge

Kenneth Ashigbey is the Chief Servant of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, is a great believer in Ghana & believes that with right Leadership in all aspect of Life within Ghana, we will hit the very top. I believe that Leadership is not just Political leadership but Leadership in very aspect of the word. Lets all shine in our corners where we are. We should also support each other as Ghanaians 1st before extending our hands to strangers. We should allow the Princes of Land to marry the Land not Strangers 1st.
